 Create a Life of Meaning... Based on the "Last Lecture" of Randy Pausch  Why do you think Randy Pausch was able to achieve so many of his childhood dreams? In my opinion, Randy Pausch was able to achieve so many of his childhood dreams because           he did not give up.  Rather than letting the "brick walls" keep him out, he proved he wanted it badly enough.  He faced obstacles and challenges (brick walls) just like we all do, but that didn't stop him.  When brick walls hit, he found other ways to accomplish his dreams.  He used them as opportunities rather than excuses to quit.  Randy Pausch is a true example of tenacity.  His work ethic, vision and execution plan was non questionable.  Tenacity is so important.  Another factor, in my opinion, is that rather than looking at something great and wanting to be a part of it, he wanted to create it.  Just like his...

Background :  I have hit a point in my life where I am ready to use my talents and passions to become an entrepreneur.  After 25 years, I have decided to go back to school and obtain the degree I walked away from.  I am currently enrolled as a Business Administrative student through BYU-I.  While balancing school, work, and raising my children is very tough, I can't help but to feel very blessed for the opportunity to study.  Graduating from BYU has been a goal of mine literally since my high school graduation and for so many years I assumed that ship had sailed and that would never happen.  With a grateful heart, here I am working hard to achieve my goal.  Ironically, my schedule and demands of life is so much greater this time around as a student, yet with the Lord's help, I am on my way. My ultimate goal is to discover what the Lord wants and needs me to do.  I know I have a purpose here on earth and I look forward to discovering what that look...
